ThinkSeries Award Ceremony 2010

Over 400 awardees who were Top 3 in ThinkSeries Competitions (Snapshots, Lyrics and Videos) attended the ThinkSeries Award Ceremony 2010.

ThinkSeries 2010 once again showcased both quality and quantity of entries, with over 3,900 students from Hong Kong, the Mainland and the UK taking part, which bore testament to the enthusiastic response of students, teachers and principals.

The ceremony convened with the performance of Succeed Band, a band consisting of a group of post-90s students from Tin Shui Wai.

The winners expressed their views towards the theme ‘Faith’ through snapshots, videos, and lyrics, many of which demonstrated outside-the-box thinking.

At the end of the ceremony, Rosa Lee from St Francis’ Canossian College, Project Manager of ThinkSeries Leader 2010, announced the 2011 ThinkSeries theme – Dream.

It was a brilliant milestone not only for the awardees but also for ALL the students, teachers, principals, and the 19 Student Leaders who played an outstanding role in running the ThinkSeries Award Ceremony.

Ms Winnie Fung | Project Manager, Wiseman Education

These post-90s opened up a new dimension of thinking, interacting, and inspiration. Congratulations!

Mr MT Law | Teacher, Tsuen Wan Government Secondary School

I have to thank Wiseman, Clement Chung in particular, for the wonderful ideas and work done for the education sector in boosting the confidence of not only high achievers but also low achievers, by giving every single student a chance to think smart and be creative while learning English. The platform you provide is certainly a good example for all frontline teachers to help nurture the kind of students we are to shape our next generations. Think with love, think with faith and Think with dreams. There we go together and there we build the generations to come.

Ms Renu Mudaly | NET, Lok Sin Tong Leung Chik Memorial School

Thanks to Wiseman Education for affording our students in Hong Kong the opportunity to use English creatively through expressing themselves via a snapshot, lyric and documentary on the theme "Faith". While it was a challenging concept to work on, I think the students handled it reasonably well generally.

Ms Nicole Tavares | Faculty of Education, The University of Hong Kong

May I thank you once again for inviting me to such a glamorous occasion to witness the remarkable success of the Awards Presentation Ceremony organised by our young, energetic and talented ThinkSeries student-leaders and the efforts of the other organisers behind the scene, to share the joy of the prize winners whose creativity I'm utterly impressed by, and to experience the warmth and hospitality of everyone present.

I'm looking forward to the opportunity of appreciating the unique masterpieces of the participants in the next round of the Competition and to supporting Wiseman in its meaningful endeavours of bringing the best out of our younger generation.

Mr Aman Wong | Teacher, Immanuel Lutheran College

The students are not merely motivated by the awards. More important are the lives of others that they have touched upon through making these works.
